My Take on "Elevation" by Stephen King
Where to start, where to start. As usual, Stephen King has left me with the same sense of feeling of, "what did I just read?" If you have thought about starting to get into reading Stephen King, then I would probably recommend this as a starting point. Unlike his other books, Elevation is very short, 144 pages short to be precise. Having it be this short, allows for you to get right into the story without having to read the extremely detailed back stories and descriptions that King usually writes (not that that trait is bad in anyway). It also allows for people who are new to King to get a sense for how he writes. Not many other authors have the same flair or style that he has and it can take some getting used to. But it being a short story has had no effect on the suspense that only Stephen King can give. Right from the get go, you're wondering about the characters and what is happening, leading you into wondering where on earth that this story could go. By the end of the story, you're left with the classic feeling of "well now I want more" which, in my opinion, is one of the best kind of feelings you can get from a book.
With Elevation by Stephen King being a short story, I can only compliment it with a short review. It delivers a story that is both compelling and entertaining, and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a quick read that will leave you saying, "what brilliance did I just read?"

Nice first review Tiger. Enjoyed it. As a suggestion maybe for other reviews you could have sub-headings as a way of providing a natural progression, such as Details (name, author price, where available, etc), Review, Summary, Recommendation, Target Audience, Rating, etc.
