What is going on my individuals?!


Welcome to my blog, Jordan's World! In this wonderful place you'll find a variety of things that all have a special place within in my heart. Most of the time, they will be "reviews" on things such as books, movies, TV shows, Technology, gaming and many other little things here and there. Now, reviews is being used in a very broad sense here as I am, in no way, an expert on any of these matters, but they are things I am passionate about. So more than a review, I suppose you could say it's more of an opinion of an everyday person. By doing it this way, I hope I will be able to help each person who reads a post have a greater understanding of that topic, what other people may think and to help in the aid of justifying to yourself why you need that new game! However! It will not always be the brand spanking new, the best of the best as they say. Sometimes I might talk about things that came out/were released/was published many, many moons ago. Like I said before, these things are things that have a special place with me that I hope I can share with you! With that said, I think it's time to put my mouth where my keyboard is and get some posts up for you to read! Thanks again for stopping by for a visit!

In the day and age of internet streaming, it was only a matter of time that Broadway would eventually make it onto one streaming website or another. For this in particular, Disney's Disney+  has managed to be the first to the podium with it airing Lin-Manuel Miranda's award winning play, Hamilton (2020) . Miranda  had spent over six years of his life dedicated to writing, composing and making the lyrics of the play, which is dedicated to one of America's Founding Fathers, Alexander Hamilton, played by Lin-Manuel Miranda  himself. Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time - Review

Hello, hello! It's the start of another week, which means it's time to get another blog post out there for all you readers! Today, I thought I'd give just a quick, to-the-point review on the new Crash Bandicoot installment, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time . I have played a lot of different platformers in my time, including the original and remastered versions of the Crash Bandicoot games and this one probably frustrates me the most. Don't get me wrong, the game itself is fantastic, with the inclusions of new masks which give you new powers, but I find myself rage quitting this game more than any other game in recent memory. The new powers are a great new addition to the game, being able to change different dimensions, use dark matter power, be able to slow down time and flip gravity, it allows for challenging new situations that can take some time getting used to. Review - The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss

Hello, hello! TGIF, am I right? Hopefully you get a couple days off now or at least, some time off soon! For now, but the grind continues here and today I thought I would do a quick review on a book series that had a big impact on my style of writing. So, without further ado, let's get to it! Since I was young, fantasy novels have always found their way into my bookshelf. I think everyone my age, had either the Deltora Quest or Ranger's Apprentice books when they were kids. Of course, there was also the classic Eragon series as we got older, which helped us branch into the timeless masterpiece of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings series. An all-time favourite of mine (and will be forever) are the Skulduggery Pleasant series, spanning across 13 books with two more to come.
